Recognised for my dedication
A significant milestone in my career was achieving a "top 20" spot in the Australian Photography Magazine's creative competition, placing 11th out of over 3000 entries. This accomplishment came after three years of persistent effort and followed 12 other certificates from various photo competitions. My first highly commended award for landscape photography was a great boost, but the top 20 recognition felt like a true validation of all the hard work. It proves that if you're truly passionate, you can achieve anything.
The philosophy behind limited edition prints
For a long time, I took photos purely for myself, never intending to sell them. People often encouraged me to, but I questioned if my work was truly good enough. The "top 20" award was the encouragement I needed to take the leap. Selling my art in limited numbers and for a limited time ensures each piece remains special and unique, much like the moments I capture through my lens.
